We just wrapped up two days at DeveloperWeek in Oakland. My first time there and our first time sponsoring. I had a wonderfully broad range of conversations with all kinds of interesting and gracious people from various corners of the industry and world. The show had the feeling of a technology bazaar. Mostly in a good way.

Jim gave a super fun talk about behavioral economics and chat bots in a way only he can. (Check out his recent podcast for some of these ideas).

The other unexpected and entirely wonderful thing was spending a couple of days in Old Oakland. Living across the bridge in SF, I rarely spend more than a few hours for a meeting or event in Oakland. Old Oakland's people, food and neighborhood appeal is strong. Shout outs to Swan's Market, Coloso Coffee, Blue Bottle and Sláinte a short stroll away. You kept us caffeinated and well fed.
